It’s called the “Circus of Knowledge”, and at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria, it is designed to transform science into art.
Creating sensory and engaging experiences with performers, musicians, academics, scientists (and even robots at times), it aims to engage people of all ages in scientific topics through collaborative artistic projects.
Circus Director, Airan Berg, is in Adelaide, in South Australia where he is collaborating on other artistic community and science projects.
Berg explained to Cosmos what it is about the Circus of Knowledge that enables it to bring scientists to the theatre.
Read science facts, not fiction…
There’s never been a more important time to explain the facts, cherish evidence-based knowledge and to showcase the latest scientific, technological and engineering breakthroughs. Cosmos is published by The Royal Institution of Australia, a charity dedicated to connecting people with the world of science.
