CALGARY, Alberta – University of Texas Diver Janie Boyle placed sixth on the 10-meter platform on Saturday at the 2022 FINA Diving Grand Prix Canada Cup at the MNP Community and Sport Centre.
Competing for the United States, Boyle scored 232.30 to finish in sixth place on the platform. Ingrid Oliveira of Brazil won with 361.90 points, while Canadian Celina Toth placed second with 332.30 and Lois Toulson of Great Britain scored 293.40 points to take third.
Boyle will dive again on Sunday, competing with partner Nike Agunbiade at 3:40 p.m. CT in the 10-meter platform synchronized final.
Manuel Borowski will also compete on Sunday, diving in the final of the synchronized 3-meter with partner Max Weinrich at 2 p.m. CT.
