Matsatsantsa failed to take their winning streak to three matches as they arrived at FNB Stadium flying high with two consecutive wins.
Hunt, who sounded disappointed after the game, said his charges should have killed the game off early in the first half.

GAVIN HUNT DISAPPOINTED AFTER LOSING TO CHIEFS
“We should never lose a game like that, never in a million years,” Hunt told SuperSport TV.
“First half, we could have been out of sight in the first 10 to 15 minutes.
“So many opportunities, you don’t score. I mean the goals [against us] were really poor, poor goals, from a goal-kick, we kick and we miss, a miscue.
“So it’s disappointing to lose, you should never lose a game like that.”

Asked where things went wrong, Hunt emphasised that the biggest factor behind their defeat was not making use of the opportunities they created.
“We conceded really two poor goals and we had so many opportunities you know, we should have been 3-0 up in the first 15 minutes there,” he added.
“And don’t score and then you can do what you like and they got something right on half-time, which is really poor from out perspective you know.
“Anyway, yeah we shouldn’t be losing but yah all fair play.”
