More Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners are to be released Saturday as part of an exchange deal on the second day of a four-day pause in fighting. Israel received a list of the captives to be released by Hamas on Saturday, the Israeli prime minister’s office said, and the Israel Prison Service said it had prepared 42 Palestinian prisoners for release. Under the agreement for the pause, Hamas is expected to release one hostage seized in Israel on Oct. 7 for every three Palestinian prisoners freed. The Palestine Red Crescent Society said it received almost 200 trucks of aid Friday after the pause began, and, on Saturday, it announced the dispatch of its largest aid convoy to Gaza’s north since the war began.
