Jonathan Ross is without doubt one of the UK’s best known TV and radio presenters, having been around for decades in the entertainment industry.
Over that time he’s gone from Radio Two to hosting his very own chat-show on ITV, as well as appearing in numerous other programmes.
But since right at the beginning of his career he’s had the same woman next to him, although in the beginning the dynamic was a bit different.

Jonathan, 60, first met his wife, Jane Goldman, 51, in 1986 when she was just 16 at a journalism event where she was starting out.
Despite their 10-year age gap, the pair hit it off, bonding over their love of science fiction, horror films and American pop culture.

Jane remembers being the one to pursue Jonathan. Speaking to the Times in 2012 she said: “I met Jonathan at some sort of promotional event.
“He’d just started his show The Last Resort. He’d only been doing it for two weeks, I think.
“I can’t remember what we talked about. I wish I could.
“I think I invited him to some other thing, hoping to see him again. Maybe I was less socially awkward back then.”
The pair ended up getting together and married two years later when Jane was 18.
Speaking about the early years on Loose Women in 2015 Jonathan said: “When we first got together, she was very young… I wasn’t that old but I was considerably older and she came straight from home with her parents.
“And I think the relationship carried on, I was sort of a parent figure as well as a husband,” he admitted.
The couple have stayed together ever since, celebrating their 33rd anniversary this year.
They have had three children along the way too, Betty, Harvey, and Honey, who you may have heard of as a body positive influencer.
Jane is also a hugely successful writer in her own right, having written a Game of Thrones spin-off and screenplays for films like Kick-Ass (2010) and Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015).
Reflecting on their marriage more recently Jonathan has previously said to the Mirror : “I think we are much more of an equal partnership than we have ever been before in our lives.
“Now that we’re both getting older, she has an incredible career of her own and I think she got a bit tired a few years ago of me making decisions without telling her which I would do.
“I would be like, ‘We are doing this’ and, ‘Oh, I’ve done up the spare room’ and she’d be like, ‘Why?’”
He also once said: “Jane’s my ideal, whatever way she is.
“We’ve grown up together and I become more passionate about her as the years go by.
“For me, it’s only ever been Jane and it only ever will be.”
Catch the Jonathan Ross show this Saturday at 9.30pm on ITV.
