Good afternoon from myself and Andrew McGarry on the occasion of the fourth (and probably final) day of the Adelaide Oval Test.
Australia needs just six wickets today after Scott Boland’s heroics yesterday to wrap up a 2-0 series lead and, the way they bowled yesterday, you’d expect that to all occur relatively quickly given the lack of resistance from some of the West Indies batters so far this Test.
It’s not been all bad though, with Devon Thomas (8) and Jason Holder (8) knuckling down well and, with the ball now 22 overs old and without the lights on, it might be harder work for Australia than we might expect.
However, with Nathan Lyon prowling around outside off and getting real turn and bounce, you’d expect the breakthrough to come sooner or later.
Regardless of how long it all lasts, let’s hope for a nice, fun old time, shall we?
