Family and friends of the late lawyer Paul Gicheru converged at Regina Caeli Catholic church in Nairobi for his requiem mass on Tuesday, October 4.
During the mass, the 50-year-old was eulogised as a loving family man, exceedingly generous and a sharp lawyer during his decades-long career as a legal practitioner.
Among the attendees were Gicheru’s wife, Ruth Nyambura and his three lovely sons, Allan, Alvin and Alex, who study in the United Kingdom.

According to their photos that have gone viral on social media, the deceased’s sons are donning matching well-fitting suits and black facemasks.

Notably, the three handsome gentlemen wear well-styled and neat dreadlocks, which left Kenyans talking.
Dreads are for cool kids

Sons mourn Gicheru
Speaking during the mass, the sons, in a joint tribute, said their father was loving, slow to anger and selfless.
“You were loving, composed and courageous. You were slow to anger and always gave numerous chances to people. You lived a life of selfless service, helping others even before you could help yourself and not expecting anything in return.
We love you dad, we will miss you dearly and we hope to see you again. Rest in peace,” they said.
In her eulogy, their mother encouraged them not to fear as they start a new chapter of their lives without their father.
