Miner and building materials supplier Afrimat says a bump in the pace of SA investments in road maintenance and rail refurbishments helped lift its interim revenue almost a tenth in the six months to end-August. The group, valued at about R8 billion on the JSE, said the results once again reaffirmed the value of its diversification strategy, and SA’s rail issues also weighed somewhat on its iron ore business.
