Amravati. Two days ago, the state government has sought information from the school education department for schools with less than 20 students. Due to which there has been tremendous panic in the education world of the district. If the government closes these schools, then how will the government adjust the students studying here and the teachers working there. Many such questions are being raised by the teachers. State’s School Education Minister Deepak Kaiserkar on October 11 asked all the education departments of the state for information about schools with numbers from 0 to 20. Due to which all these schools in the education sector will be closed by the government in the coming days. Such indications have been found.
Adjustment of 710 teachers
It is noteworthy that in the year 2009, the government had implemented the Right to Education Act for the purpose of spreading education in the rural areas. Under this law, efforts were started in the direction of bringing all children into the flow of education. Under the Right to Education Act, it is the responsibility of the government to provide primary school within a distance of 1 km from the village and a secondary school at an interval of 3 km.

In the present situation the status of government schools is deteriorating. Because of this, most of the boys from the city to the rural areas prefer to take admission in private schools instead of going to the Zilla Parishad schools. In this situation, there are 355 schools in Amravati district, where there is a stir among the teachers due to the possibility of locking these schools due to less than 20 students. Teachers and assistant teachers at one school, if these schools are closed due to two employees currently working in this way, then the government will have to adjust 710 teachers of the district and doing this will prove to be a difficult task for the administration.
