If you love your job, you’ll never want to retire. NBA players are no exception.
At the same time, you’ll have to. Perhaps your body gives out. Your company may strongly encourage you to leave. At some point, we all have to call it quits.
Surely, most of them would love to play into their 50s and beyond. Unfortunately, no coach will give them the opportunity to do so.
With that in mind, the most they can hope for is to enjoy their last days in the NBA. Something tells us Eric Gordon of the Houston Rockets hasn’t been doing so.
He’s a veteran among a group of rookies and sophomores that aren’t ready to compete at the highest level yet.
He’d probably be a lot happier on the Los Angeles Clippers.
