It’s obvious when something isn’t working. The reasons why can be less obvious. The same holds true about NBA careers.
Sometimes, a young player’s career is just obviously not on the trajectory people hoped it would be. Is that because of the player, or his situation?
It’s difficult to say. Still, a young player in that situation could usually do well with a change of scenery.
On that note, Mo Bamba of the Orlando Magic should be a trade candidate this season.
It was never hard to see Bamba’s upside. He’s got one of the longest wingspans in the NBA. Couple that elite size with three-point shooting, and Bamba was always an elite prospect.
Could he make good on that potential with the Los Angeles Lakers?
