Every year the training and simulation community descends on Orlando, Fla., for the annual I/ITSEC meeting. The largest trade show focused on military training, modeling and simulation, the event has a strong academic bent — but that doesn’t mean there isn’t news.
At the 2023 gathering, speakers focused on how to take concepts for T&S activity out from the theoretical and into the real world, driven by lessons learned from the still ongoing Ukraine war and the nascent conflict in Gaza. Military officials who talked to Breaking Defense made it clear that they are watching conflicts around the world carefully to better shape how the US trains its own servicemembers for modern, ever-evolving combat.
In this eBook, you’ll see our coverage from the event, but as always, just because the show is over doesn’t mean the topic goes away. To stay on top of the latest news from the military training and simulation world, keep eyes on BreakingDefense.com.
