MOSCOW will annex four Russia-occupied regions of Ukraine at a Kremlin ceremony tomorrow after Putin won so-called referendums.
The Russian leader will claim victory in the Ukrainian regions of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia following sham referendums over recent days.
Kremlin spokesman Dimitry Peskov said: “Tomorrow in the Georgian Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace at 15:00 (1200 GMT) a signing ceremony will take place on the incorporation of the new territories into Russia.”
This comes as reports claim over 200,000 Russians have fled the country in just a week, following Putin’s announcement of partial mobilisation.
According to CNN, 100,000 Russians have crossed into Kazakhstan, while another 54,000 and 66,000 have fled into Georgia and the EU respectively.

Putin calls for new ‘world order’ in chilling speech
Russia’s dictator has called for a “more just world order” while meeting with the Commonwealth of Independent States, a group of former Soviet nations.
“We are witnessing a difficult process of forming a more just world order,” he said.
“We also know that the West is working out scenarios for inciting new conflicts in the CIS space. But we already have enough of them. It is enough to look at what is happening now between Russia and Ukraine, what is happening on the borders of some other CIS countries.”

Annexation a ‘dangerous escalation’, UN claims
The UN has called Russia’s annexation of four Ukrainian regions a “dangerous escalation.”
“Any decision to proceed with the annexation of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine would have no legal value and deserves to be condemned,” Antonio Guterres, the UN General-secretary told reporters.
“It must not be accepted,” he went on to say.

Russia has mobilised ‘100,000’ troops since last week, Ukrainian official claims
According to Oleksiy Hromov, a deputy chief of the General Staff’s main operations department, Putin has already raised 100,000 troops since his declaration last week.
“We understand that the announced figure of 300,000 is not final. The number of mobilized conscripts will most likely be far larger,” Hromov added.
Tomorrow, Putin will declare the annexation of FOUR Ukrainian regions.

Russian officials claim Ukrainians ‘do not want to go back to their old lives’
Russian officials have spoken following the results of sham referendums that took place in Ukraine this week.
In a statement given by the Russian Foreign Ministry, they said an “overwhelming majority” of Ukrainians voted to join Russia.
“The results of the plebiscites speak for themselves: the people of the Donbas, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions do not want to go back to their old lives and have made a conscious and free choice in favour of Russia,” the ministry said in a statement.
It is important to note that these results have been universally dismissed by the democratic west.

Putin’s popularity plummets as he forces partial mobilisation
According to the Levada Centre, Putin’s popularity among Russians has fallen drastically in the last week.
Prior to his announcement of partial mobilisation, a policy that looks to raise a further 300,000 troops for his war in Ukraine, his approval rating was 83%.
Now, that rating sits at 77% as thousands flee the country to avoid conscription.

UK’s Ministry of Defence release latest intelligence update
The UK’s Ministry of Defence have released their latest intelligence update this morning claiming that “there has been a considerable exodus of Russians seeking to evade call-up”.
The Ministry said: “In the seven days since President Putin announced the ‘partial mobilisation’ there has been a considerable exodus of Russians seeking to evade call-up. Whilst exact numbers are unclear, it likely exceeds the size of the total invasion force Russia fielded in February 2022.
“The better off and well educated are over-represented amongst those attempting to leave Russia.
“When combined with those reservists who are being mobilised, the domestic economic impact of reduced availability of labour and the acceleration of ‘brain drain’ is likely to become increasingly significant.”

Russia to hold annexation concerts, reports claim
Reports have claimed that Moscow will hold a celebratory concert in the Red Square tomorrow, as Putin signs off the annexation of four Ukrainian regions.
According to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov billboards will read: “Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson – Russia!”
Putin will sign the annexation papers tomorrow, following this weeks “sham” referednums.

Zelensky calls an emergency meeting
President Zelensky has called an emergency meeting of his security staff, as Russia prepares to annex four Ukrainian regions.
Sergii Nykyforov, a spokesperson for the steadfast President, said: “President Volodymyr Zelensky convenes an urgent meeting of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine tomorrow.
“Agenda and other details will be announced later.”

Putin set up “sham” referendums in Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia as he tries to hang onto control.

Kremlin calls Nord Stream leak an act of ‘terrorism’
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has pinned the blame for this week’s Nord Stream leaks on a foreign country.
“It’s very difficult to imagine that such a terrorist act could happen without the involvement of a state,” he said.
Ukraine has accused Russia of destroying the pipe, while other Western countries have hinted that Putin may be to blame.

Every aspect of ‘sham’ referendums ‘pre-staged’, White House reports
The White House has claimed that every detail of the referendums in Ukraine has been “pre-staged”, including the results.
“Based on our information, every aspect of this referenda process was pre-staged and orchestrated by the Kremlin,” White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said.
She added: “Regardless of Russia’s claims, this remains Ukrainian territory.”

Ukraine claims Russia have lost a further 430 troops
Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence have claimed that Russia have lost a further 430 troops taking the total number to 58,580.
Russian forces have also lost a staggering 13 tanks and 20 armoured vehicles within the past 24 hours.

Former boxing World Champion Nikolai Valuev drafted into war
Putin’s army has been forced to call up a 49-year-old former boxing World Champion.
Many will recognise the fighter after his iconic fight with David Haye in 2009.
After retiring in 2009, Nikolai Valuev went into politics and joined the Russian parliament or Duma in 2011 as a member of the Putin-backing United Russia party.
In 2010, Valuev’s doctor said he was treating the man mountain for “serious bone and joint problems”

A fourth gas leak on the damaged Nord Stream pipelines has been discovered by the Swedish coast guard.
A defence source has claimed that the suspected sabotage was a “premeditated act using underwater explosives” aiming to cripple Europe’s gas supply.

Finland will close border to Russian tourists
Russian tourists will be stopped from crossing the boarder into Finland from from midnight local time (9pm GMT).
Those entering on family visits and those who are working and studying will still be allowed to travel however.
The government said the move is expected to lead to a significant drop in cross-border traffic.
In the past couple of days there have been huge queues at the Russia-Finland border as many Russian try to flee following the military mobilisation announcement.

Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, has confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend a ceremony in the Kremlin on Friday.
The four regions of Ukraine controlled by Russian forces will be officially folded into Russia tomorrow.
Mr Peskov told reporters that the heads of the four regions will sign treaties to join Russia during the ceremony.

Putin to address Russian parliament on Friday
According to the British Ministry of Defence, Putin will address the Russian parliament this Friday, where he will likely announce the formal accession of the captured Ukrainian territories.
The MoD statement reads: “President Putin is scheduled to address both houses of the Russian parliament on Friday 30 September.
“There is a realistic possibility that Putin will use his address to formally announce the accession of the occupied regions of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.”

NATO release statement after Nord Stream ‘sabotage’
There have been investigations ongoing to determine the cause of the Nord Stream gas line leaks.
“All currently available information indicates that this is the result of deliberate, reckless, and irresponsible acts of sabotage,” NATO said in a statement.
“We, as Allies, have committed to prepare for, deter and defend against the coercive use of energy and other hybrid tactics by state and non-state actors.
“Any deliberate attack against Allies’ critical infrastructure would be met with a united and determined response,” it said.

Vladimir Putin will hold a signing ceremony in the Kremlin on Friday to add four territories of Ukraine into Russia, his spokesman said.

Peskov also said the ceremony was taking place “on agreements on the accession of new territories into the Russian Federation.”
Agreements will be signed “with all four territories that held referendums and made corresponding requests to the Russian side,” Peskov said.
The votes were cast in the West as illegal and illegitimate.

The Kremlin says the four regions of Ukraine that held referendums on joining Russia will be incorporated into the country on Friday.
Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend a ceremony in the Kremlin at which they will be officially folded into Russia.
Peskov told reporters Thursday that the heads of the four regions where the five-day voting wrapped up Tuesday will sign treaties to join Russia during Friday’s ceremony at the Kremlins St. Georges Hall.

The head of the upper house of the Russian parliament said it could consider the incorporation of the four partially occupied regions on October 4.
