Fulham continue their push for European qualification against Wolves at Craven Cottage in Friday Night Football.
Victory will see Fulham stay fifth but move to within one point of the top-four, whilst Wolves can climb to 13th with a win.
Team News
Aleksandar Mitrovic could return for Fulham after he missed their win at Brighton last weekend with a hamstring injury.
Tom Cairney (ankle) and Neeskens Kebano (Achilles) both remain absent.
Wolves could welcome Mario Lemina back into contention after he missed their defeat against Bournemouth due to an one-match ban.
Hwang Hee-Chan (hamstring), Boubacar Traore (groin), Chiquinho and Sasa Kalajdzic (both knee) remain ruled out.
When is Kick-Off?
Fulham host Wolves at Craven Cottage in a 8pm GMT kick-off on Friday 24 February, live on Sky Sports in UK.
Stat Attack
- Fulham are winless in their last five meetings against Wolves (D2, L3).
- Wolves have lost just one of their last five visits to Fulham (W3, D1, L1).
- Each of Fulham’s last three defeats against Wolves have all been by 1-0 results.
- Manor Solomon is yet to score a league goal via a header this season for Fulham, with his two goals having been scored once via his right and left foot respectively.
- Adama Traore has been utilised as a substitute on more occasions than any other Wolves player in the league this season (12).
Prediction
With an unexpected top-four challenge now a potential prospect, Fulham now need to kick on after their clinical smash-and-grab win at Brighton where they were absolutely excellent on the counter-attack, aided by some quality defending to weather the host’s waves of attacks.
Wolves meanwhile lacked creativity to break down a stubborn Bournemouth defence last weekend and were clinically punished, amidst some strong attacking intensity so I do expect them to come here fighting for a result at a ground where they have fared well in recent visits.
Fulham though do look solid now that they’ve come through their rut earlier this year and even without Mitrovic, I do see them having enough in them to spring a mini surprise here despite the omens being stacked against them.
Prediction: Fulham 1-0 Wolves
