“SP was a visionary titan of industry and business, humanitarian and philanthropist.”
Sri was married to Madhu and they had two daughters, Shanu and Vinoo.
The couple also had a son, Dharam, together, who died in 1992.
Madhu died, aged 82, in January 2023.
His brother Gopi Hinduja, also known as Gopichand, was born on February 29, 1940 in India.
Gopi graduated from Bombay’s Jai Hind College in 1959.
He is married to Sunita and they share two sons and one daughter – Sanjay, Dheeraj, and Rita.

Gopi was the co-chairman of the family business, Hinduja Group, before his brother’s death.
Gopi mainly manages the UK interests.
The business also belongs to his two other brothers.

Until his death Sri was leading the company as chairman and primary stakeholder.
