WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s fight to evade extradition from Britain to the United States to face spying charges may be nearing an end, after years of legal challenges.
Starting Tuesday, lawyers for the Australian-born activist and whistleblower, who has been held in a London prison since 2019, will make a final bid for an appeal in a British court. The hearing will last two days and judges are expected to make their decision at a later date — possibly weeks, even months later.
